Miyavi debuted as a solo artist in 2002, known as the "samurai guitarist". His Hollywood acting career began with Unbroken in 2014 directed by Angelina Jolie.

As Nakamura, he is one of the main obstacles that are in the way of the 2 heroes of the Wrecking Crew movie directed by "Blue Beetle" Director ANGEL MANUEL SOTO.  Starring with Dave Bautista, Jason Momoa, Morena Baccarin, Jacob Batalon and Stephen Root. Now on Prime Video.
