Comedians are a tight group of friends that support each other through decades of controversy and tragedy, providing laughter for everyone, even the hecklers! BILL DEVLIN - Stand Up Comedian, Actor, Writer, Producer. Bill Devlin’s Comedy & Cocktails is one of the longest running shows at the world famous Hollywood Improv. Devlin has performed with Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, David Spade and many more. He’s been written about in the Irish Herald, The Irish News and profiled on NBC’s Today in LA and NPR. Devlin’s TV variety show The Un-Invited Guests with Bill Devlin; starred Devlin and legend Dom Deluise. He Is currently the National Spokesman for the Pilipino fast food chain Jollibee. ALI SHER - Born in Russia, his dad is Chinese and Mom is Russian. Ali wanted to be a Comedian since he was young. He grew up with watching many famous Russian Comedians and when he went to the U.S., he volunteered for 3 years at the famous HA-HA Club to learn everything about comedy shows and watching comedians perform instead of taking comedy classes. EWPs’Cambodian Rock Band Cast: KELSEY ANGEL BAEHRENS & TIM LIU

EWP will present the Los Angeles premiere of Lauren Yee’s Cambodian Rock Band, featuring music from Dengue Fever—the LA band that inspired the play after Yee attended one of their Long Beach concerts. This poignant new classic of the American theater canon has taken the country by storm, and EWP is proud to be the first to bring this production to Los Angeles County, the home of the largest ethnically Cambodian population outside of Cambodia. This play is directed by Chay Yew. This part-play, part-rock concert explores the story of a Khmer Rouge survivor as he returns to Cambodia after 30 long years. As his daughter prepares to prosecute one of the regime's most notorious war criminals, the ghosts of their shared past begin to stir. This deeply moving story weaves back and forth through time as father and daughter confront history, turning to music as a path towards healing. Her travels with Cambodian Rock Band began in 2022 as Neary in the Hawai‛i community premiere. She then toured with the OG Cyclos as understudy to "Neary/Pou" from 2022-23. She is deeply honored to return to this story as the Lead "Sothea/Neary" and to complete this circle with her heroes. TIM LIU playing "Ted/Leng" was born and raised in New Jersey. He most recently performed in Cambodian Rock Band at Arena Stage (DC) and ACT/5th Ave (Seattle). Additional theatre credits include off-broadway performances with Audible Theatre (Good Enemy, dir. Chay Yew), Pearl Theatre Company (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, dir. Eric Tucker), Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, HERE Arts Center, and other NYC Theaters. Regionally he has worked with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, B Street Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, and Centenary Stage Company, etc. Recent TV and Film credits include: A Father’s Son (w/ Ronny Chieng and Tzi Ma), Knock at the Cabin (M Night Shyamalan), and New Amsterdam (NBC). DUSTIN NGUYEN is now the Lead, “Tay”, in a brilliant, award winning and critically acclaimed film The Accidental Getaway Driver directed by talented Sing J. Lee. Story of an elderly Vietnamese cab driver, during a routine pickup, is taken hostage at gunpoint by 3 Orange County convicts. It’s not his first award winning film, he was in Little Fish with CATE BLANCHETT as “Jonny, a drug addict”. He directed his first film critically acclaimed film Once Upon a Time in Vietnam among some other wonderful films, and also directing episodes in Warrior in season 2 and 3, produced by Shannon Lee. We are happy to have 1 of our own, he was one of the YOLK Editors and Writers., and now look where he is now! Philip W. Chung has written and produced for theatre, film and television. He was the Co-founder/Artistic Director of the Asian American theatre company Lodestone Theatre Ensemble[1] and is the current creative director for director Justin Lin's company YOMYOMF.[2][3][4] His producing projects include the upcoming LGBTQ-themed horror film Moonshadow,[5] the Stage 13/HBO Max Asian food series Family Style,[6] Google's first 360 degree live-action film Help[7] directed by Justin Lin (also Writer), the U.S.-China co-production Hollywood Adventures starring Zhao Wei (Co-Producer and Co-Writer),[8] the Artbound/PBS documentary East West Players: A Home On Stage (Consulting Producer),[9] and the Karen Gillan-starring indie film Late Bloomers (Associate Producer).[10]. Chung has taught Asian American studies courses at UC Santa Cruz and playwriting at the L.A. Cultural Affairs Dept. and the Asian American Writers Workshop. His play My Man Kono about the life of Charlie Chaplin's Japanese American valet Toraichi Kono premieres off-Broadway in NYC in 2025. His play Unbroken Blossoms, about the making of the 1919 D.W. Griffith-directed silent film Broken Blossoms. He is also writing features for Netflix and Buzzfeed Studios.
